Inauspicious Day announcement

I have decided to counteract the ignorant and hateful attitudes being formally placed in positions of authority today by going public about my gender status.

(Do not adjust your sets; there is no cause for alarm; keep calm and carry on; the south tower is secure.)

The short version is that I have always preferred a female identity, though I suppressed this idea for most of my life because I thought it was logically impossible.

It makes me happy to be addressed and thought of as female, so please do that if you are willing and able – but I will not take offense to anyone who does otherwise, whether deliberately or accidentally.

I won't be making any dramatic changes to my appearance; I have been on HRT since mid-July, so you've already seen how that's going.
