Me/phone phobia

I have an acute fear of using the telephone, especially business calls and involving people I don't know well.

This has been less of a problem as more business interaction has moved online, but still comes up for things like automobile repairs.

A lot of it has to do with voice-dysphoria, as I'm invariably read as male on the phone, but there are other equally problematic issues.
